(partial) hearing loss/partially deaf

December 3, 2015January 24, 2016 rkanigel 4687 views

Hard of hearing is the most common term for those who have a mild to moderate hearing loss that may or may not be corrected with amplification. Ask the individual what term he or she prefers. Otherwise, hard of hearing is almost always acceptable.

See hard of hearing.
